Joshua Ancheta

Joshua Ancheta was born in Quezon City, Philippines where he spent most of his life. Josh attended high school at the Mapua Institute of Technology and graduated with high honors in 2021. Upon graduating high school, Josh migrated to the US to attend college. The transition was quite challenging for him, but it didn’t stop him from pursuing his studies and goals. He moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to continue his studies at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) during the Fall of 2021. He will spend his first two years at CCAC, then hopes to transfer to the University of Pittsburgh in the fall of 2024 for a degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his time in the US, he faced many challenges. He understands the importance of having discipline, patience, and cooperation with his peers. Josh is willing to take on any challenge and will learn and grow from it.
