Noah Walsh

College/University: Washington and Jefferson College

Noah Walsh is a Junior chemistry and English double major at Washington & Jefferson College. Outside of the classroom, he tutors for the chemistry department and the writing center, and he has worked as a lab assistant for both the biology and chemistry departments. During summer 2023, Noah conducted research through the NSF-REU program at West Virginia University under the supervision of P.I. Brian Dolinar and graduate student Ivie Minney. His research consists of developing bulky ligand-metal complexes for use in single-molecule magnets alongside lanthanide atoms. He hopes to return to WVU this coming summer to continue his work.
